Congratulations to Momma’s Makin’ Meatloaf for achieving a long awaited first place overall!  And congratulations to the rest of the field for gutting out some of the worst race conditions we have seen at a GRR event.  As I pulled down the bike course yesterday I was amazed at how much the trails had degraded since setting it the day before.  It took almost twice as long to tear down as to set up—normally that ratio is reversed.

Quick shout out to all of those that helped:  Jason Snyder—photographer, Diana Flickner—road marshal and volunteer, Alexis Rzewski—course vetter and chicken noodle soup maker.  Alexis also took a lot of great photos and has posted them on his  Blog .  Jason is working on his photos and will post the gallery on his website.  We will post the link when they are up.  I will be working on a race report, and Bethann hopes to have results posted soon.
